This week:

I am going to introduce the following concepts to M: Money. I will do this by A) Playing Monopoly Jr. game. M is the banker and must make correct "change" for those playing. B) We are playing "restaurant". I have created a menu with pricing on the menu. She will need to take my order and write me a bill for my meal.

I also have some worksheets to introduce 2 digit addition, with no regrouping.

Reading: M has chosen a Tinker Bell book (I can't recall the name) to read. It is 112 pages! This might be to long and overwhelming for her... we'll see. I am going to purchase another "My First Little House" book for her to read just in case.

I have also taken some worksheets from the Super Teacher site for reading comprehension.

C: I am introducing the "Circle" shape and letter A. I have a circle book to introduce the shape. I am working on other crafts for him. I also have several "A" print-outs. He will color, paint. decorate and somehow craft them this week. I am looking for other, creative ideas... all suggestions welcome.

We are still working on dinosaurs! I have learned a lot as well from this unit!! I love homeschooling :)
