Well... I haven't written on this blog for awhile because... well because we are now in a public school. The girl is in 2nd grade. There were a lot of reasons, but when it came down to it SHE wanted to go. I had always said she always had the choice. I can't say that I am not heart broken... because it does make me very sad. Along with HER going, the boy is going to start preschool as well. Yeah... that is a whole other set of issues as it is FULL day/ 4 days a week. We'll see how this goes. My main reason for him going is the school where my daughter attends is an Op-in public school. Which means they have limited space. Preschoolers get first dibs on the spots... see where I am going with this?
Soooo, I decided to just use this as a blog for us. I have another one going, but that is our adoption blog (which is currently on hold) and it feels sacred to me. So, I guess I'll be one of "those" people with 2 blogs... no one reads these much anyway ;-)
Now I can keep my recipes, links for gadgets and random crazy thoughts all in one spot. I rock.
