Ooops! Well, with the rush of Christmas I lost time. Then directly after Christmas (as in the 26th!) We packed up the kiddletts and headed 700 miles south to visit the in-laws. They had a great time and are still talking about their adventures! I must admit... I eased up quite a bit. They had more junk food in the week we were then then an in entire year at home! They got to ride on 4 wheelers and 3 wheelers and in cars with no doors... the adventures were endless! It is so wonderful to see them spend time with family. I have my parents here, but no cousins or crazy Uncles here. They had a blast!
I need to find my list of Advent calender activities. I can not even tell you how much the kids LOVED this calender. They woke up every morning excited to see what adventures were to be had! I loved it as well.
"Santa" sent me a Christmas card. "Santa" sent me a $100 bill in the card with instructions to spend it on the kids! I still have NO idea who it could have been. But, my faith in humans has been restored. That is hard to say in an election year.
